Great Clips helping raise money to battle cancer with Light the Night Walk

By Nick McWilliams, Sports Director

The staff members at the South Zanesville Great Clips are raising money to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Every year, the Great Clips team participates locally at the Light the Night Walk, which raises money for research of blood cancers. This year, the South Zanesville location is holding a raffle to raise money to give at the fundraising event.

Items up for the raffle include tickets for a Confederate Railroad concert, a Characters Express gift certificate and an autographed picture of Antonio Brown. Tickets are one for $1 and six for $5, with only cash being accepted.

The walk will take place on Sep. 20 at Zane State College. The concert tickets will be raffled off on Sep. 1, while the entire raffle will conclude on Sep. 12.

Cash donations will also be accepted at the South Zanesville location.
