Police in Zanesville were called to the city jail Monday afternoon to investigate an alleged drug possession incident involving an inmate.

According to the police report, a male inmate was found with drugs in his anus.

Police describe the alleged drug as a white and crystal-like substance.

Pending legal action, police could not release anymore information, including the name of the accused inmate, at this time.

The inmate faces a felony charge for drug possession if convicted.
