A local store in the Colony Square Mall has moved and changed its name to better aline to its main location in Dresden.

Humble Heart was established over 30-years ago by Tammy Delancey and her husband before ultimately deciding to expand and open a second location nearly two decades later.

Homespun Treasures, the store’s previous name, was opened in the Zanesville mall roughly 10 years ago and was located near JC Penney before the recent move, according to store manager Shirer Delancey.

Delancey added that the new location is more centrally located in a busier section of the mall, and has an updated floorplan, which features new lighting to improve the customer experience.

The store offers many locally handmade items including curtains, candles, signs and wreaths, as well as OSU items.

“We really have something for everyone,” said Shirer Delancey when describing the store’s extensive offerings.

As a small family-owned business, Delancey spoke about how the store employs local college students and is thankful for the community support.

“We are loving having people come and shop,” said Shirer Delancey in referring to the increased traffic the new location has seen along with renewed support of local businesses.

The family is also planning to open a third location at the Tanger Outlets located in Sunbury later this year.
