Area first responders are responding to a bomb threat Tuesday afternoon.

Details are scarce, but Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz confirmed they are on scene.

The site appears to be the Ohio University Zanesville/Zane State Campus off SR-146.

Many individuals reported getting text and phone calls around 2 p.m. notifying them that there was a bomb threat and to evacuate immediately.
