Sheriff’s Office adds three people to Muskingum County Most Wanted list

Three men were added to the Muskingum County Most Wanted List Wednesday afternoon.

Morgan Davis, 78, is wanted for violating his parole after being released from prison on Dec. 11, 2018, and failing to register as a sex offender. His original charges consisted of rape, gross sexual imposition and corruption of another with drugs, according to the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office.

Davis is classified as a sexual predator with a history of violence and escape.

He weighs 180 pounds and is 6 feet 1 inch tall. He has grey hair, green eyes and tattoos on his right forearm, upper left arm and left forearm.

The last known address for Davis, which he reported to the BMV on Dec. 20, 2018, was 247 Pine Street, Apt. A in Zanesville.

In addition to Davis, John Newman III and Marcus Schultz were also added to the most wanted list.

Newman, 24, is wanted on a felony warrant for charges including tampering with evidence, carrying a loaded concealed weapon and trafficking in marijuana.

His last known address is 911 Moxahala Ave in Zanesville.

Newman is 5 feet 6 inches and weighs 160 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes.

Schultz, 25, is also wanted on a felony warrant. His charges consist of trafficking in marijuana and possession of criminal tools.

His last known address was 1339 Ridge Ave. in Zanesville.

Schultz is 5 feet 10 inches and weighs 135 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

With the three additions, there are currently eight people on the county’s most wanted list.
