Several intersections are without traffic lights after a strong storm came through Zanesville Thursday afternoon.

Around 3 p.m., strong winds and rain were reported throughout Muskingum County, leaving many roadways with large qualities of water or trees blocking traffic.

At the intersection of Maple Avenue and Colony Drive, traffic lights are without power. At Maple Avenue and Bell Street, near Walmart and Genesis Hospital, lights are flashing yellow.

Drivers are reminded that when traffic lights are flashing yellow or non-operative they should treat the intersection as a four-way stop.
