Muskingum County recorded a new case of COVID-19 Friday, bringing the total case count to 11.

According to the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department, the patient is a 36-year-old women who is currently hospitalized.

Her case is unrelated to any of the previous cases in Muskingum County.

One other patient with COVID-19 is also hospitalized.
