The Muskingum Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is celebrating veterans all afternoon long at Secrest Auditorium.

From 1 p.m. until 6 p.m., the public is invited to “A Victory Celebration” featuring local music, food trucks and patriotic-themed activities

Musical performances throughout the afternoon include the Y-City Barbershop Chorus, West Muskingum High School Jazz Band, Freedom City Worship Team, Scottish Fiddlers and Mike and Mary Beth Ward.

There will be a silent auction, patriotic rock painting, corn hole and letter writing to active-duty military and Honor Flight veterans.

A 3:30 p.m., Vietnam veterans will be honored during a special pinning ceremony.

Any profit made during the event will be donated to the Mighty Oaks Warrior Foundation.
