Repairs are soon to begin on Wayne Avenue after slippage from flooding and severe weather caused a lane closure in February.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 16, the road closes between Marietta Street and the Medal of Honor Bridge at SR 555. 

The route is expected to be closed for 90 days as crews make slip repairs and replace culverts. 

Local residents and businesses will still maintain access to the route during that time. 

Detours will be posted for all other traffic.
