The Colony Square Mall has invested more than $56,000 to improve its Center Court play area by making it a more engaging experience for youth.

Children will now have access to a number of interactive play panels in the space, including the “Sound Garden,” which features a piano, guitar and drums.

Additionally, memory and reaction games such as “Simon Says” and “Three-In-A-Row” have been installed.

The interactive stations are designed to help develop cognitive, social, emotional and imaginative skills for children of all ages and abilities.

The investment in such features is one that the Colony Square Mall administration believes reinforces the mall’s commitment to establishing itself as “the most sought-after family shopping and entertainment destination in southeastern Ohio,” according to a press release.

Within the play area’s 49-foot by 34-foot space, the are also spin chairs and bucket-style toddler swings.

Scattered throughout the mall, guests will also find a giant chalkboard wall, funhouse mirrors and a giant chess and checkers play room with AR TV.
