Suspected runaway teen found Thursday

The 13-year-old girl that went missing early Tuesday morning was found Thursday afternoon.

The Zanesville Police Department found Chloe Grainger around Downtown Zanesville Thursday, according to Grainger’s mother.

Tuesday morning, Grainger’s mother notice her daughter was missing from her bedroom around 3:30 a.m. The girl’s bedroom window was open.

Grainger’s mother said she searched for her daughter for about an hour.

Police arrived to the home around 4:30 a.m., Captain Scott Comstock with the Zanesville Police Department said.

Comstock added that authorities suspected Grainger ran away.

Grainger’s mother thanked the community for all of the help in searching for her daughter.
