Three were taken to the hospital after becoming injured while trying to avoid a semi-truck changing lanes on I-70 westbound in Zanesville Wednesday afternoon.

According to Trooper Rich Lanning of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a semi-truck changed lanes from right to left and cut off the driver of a Chevrolet Avalanche in the process.

The driver of the pickup swerved left in an attempt to avoid contact with the truck and ended up rolling over into the median.

According to Lanning, the driver of the semi-truck left the scene.

No further information is available about the victims or their condition.
