Power outages affecting many areas

Downed lines and power outages are affected thousands of customers across Muskingum County and beyond.

An AEP power outage from Jacksontown, spanning across Zanesville and South Zanesville, to Byesville has left nearly 1,400 people without power. The restoration time for this outage is currently under assessment.

Additional AEP power outages include a portion of northwest Zanesville in the area around Dillon Lake. This outage is affecting 457 customers. Restoration time for this outage is 10 p.m.

Another outage in the area of Coopermill Road is affecting 426 AEP customers. Restoration time for this outage is 9:30 p.m.

In the area of Blue Avenue and W. Taylor Street, another 390 AEP customers are without power. The restoration time for this outage is currently under assessment.

In the area between E. Military Road and Dresden Road, 111 AEP customers are affected by an outage. Restoration time for this outage is 9:30 p.m.

Another 215 AEP customers in the area of SR-60 and Dresden Road are without power. The restoration time for this outage is currently under assessment.

Lastly, 424 AEP customers in the area of White Cottage and East Fultonham are also experiencing a power outage. The restoration time for this outage is currently under assessment.

Approximately 131 Guernsey-Muskingum Electric customers are without power across Muskingum County, as well.

Smaller outages are affecting customers in other areas.
