A portion of Underwood Street near Downtown will be restricted to one lane Tuesday.

Between Shinnick Street and Orchard Street, the northbound lane will be divided to redirect traffic from the southbound lane.

Normal traffic flow will resume after Orchard Street.

To help guide motorists, signs, barrels and cones will be used in the area.

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible and exercise caution in the area between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
