Update: As of Monday, April 8, both Brandon Sweeney and Shelbie Glass were apprehended and in the MCSO’s custody.

The two men added to the Muskingum County Most Wanted List last week have been replaced by five new faces following their captures.

Both Thomas Smith and Joshua Spargrove were taken into custody following their addition to the list on Wednesday.

Brandon Sweeney, 22, is wanted on a bench warrant for failing to abide by sanctions of his community control. Sweeney is 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo on his right shoulder. His last known address is 424 Gomber Ave. in Cambridge.

William Defran, 33, is wanted on felony indictments with charges including two counts of escape, one count of tampering with evidence, one count of vandalism and one count of failing to register as a sex offender.

Defran is 6 foot 2 inches and weighs 225 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel colored eyes. He has tattoos on his left arm, both his right and left cheeks, face and both his left and right forearms. There is no last known address as he is documented as homeless.

Colton Barcus, 26, is wanted on a felony indictment and two bench warrants. He is charged with one count of failure to appear on bond, one count of failure to abide by the conditions of bond and one count of failure to pay child support as ordered.

Barcus is 5 feet 9 inches and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. His last known address is 83 ½ Prospect St. in Newark.

Shelbie Glass, 21, is wanted on one felony indictment and one bench warrant. She failed to appear for sentencing on forgery and is charged with one count of failure to appear on bond. Glass is 5 foot 2 inches tall and weighs 141 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel colored eyes. Her last known address is 3550 Adamsville Rd. in Zanesville.

Allen Kanavel, 34, is wanted on two felony indictments and one bench warrant. He is charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine, two counts of theft of a credit card, one count of theft, nine counts of identity fraud, one count of receiving a stolen credit card and one count of receiving stolen property. He also failed to appear for trial for an FRA suspension.

Kanavel is 5 feet 11 inches and 250 pounds. He has green eyes and red hair. He has tattoos on his back, both his left and right forearm and right leg. His last known address is 104 N. Seventh St. in Zanesville.
