Mid-East Career and Technology Centers Zanesville Campus hosted its 11th annual Employability Expo Tuesday, March 26, where over 90 local business representatives shared their career experiences with students.

The goal of the expo was to connect students with professionals in their fields of study in an effort to allow students the opportunity to ask questions and hear about the workforce first-hand from someone in the specific industry. Business professionals were matched with students based on their “career cluster,” according to a press release from Mid-East.

Junior-level students were able to ask questions to a panel of professionals regarding experience levels, dress codes, work environments, benefits, interviewing skills and more.

The event ended both the morning and afternoon sessions with a presentation from Justy Cordray of Ohio Means Jobs of Muskingum County to discuss with students the opportunities and tools that the organization offers.
