For those still looking to give this holiday season, the American Red Cross is in need of blood donors.

Now through Jan. 6, donors will receive a long sleeved t-shirt in return.

Today, Dec. 26, the Red Cross of Southeast Ohio will be stationed at Secrest Auditorium in Downtown Zanesville from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

According to Matthew Riddle, Executive Director of the American Red Cross Southeast Ohio Chapter, the holidays are especially a time of need for blood donors as many of the high school and college students who typically give blood are home on winter break.
