Shortly after midnight Zanesville Dispatch received multiple calls of shots fired near Just 1 More Bar & Grill along Linden Avenue.

Callers described seeing a large group of males running from the location shortly after the incident.

Zanesville Police found drops of blood from the potential victim, but were unable to initially identify the individual.

Police were later able to conclude the victim was pistol whipped, but at the time of this publication were unable to find any potential assailants.

Value Care, The Ohio State Highway Patrol, and multiple Zanesville Police Department officers were on scene.

Police are still actively combing the area.
