Muskingum University theatre students present latest production “Trap”

By Christine Holmes, News Director

Students at Muskingum University will perform their production of “Trap” beginning Nov. 15 and running through Nov. 17.

A press release from the University describes “Trap” as “unnerving, exhilarating and wildly inventive.”

“By using interviews with witnesses, loved ones, first responders and the investigators pursuing the case, ‘Trap’ brings to life the incomprehensible event of every audience member, but one, falling unconscious while watching a high school play,” the release said.

“Trap” opens Thursday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. at Muskingum University’s Phillip and Betsey Caldwell Hall and runs through Saturday, Nov. 17. All show times are at 8 p.m. with an additional showing at 2 p.m. on Nov. 17.

Tickets to the play are $5 each and are available at the door or in advance by calling the theatre box office at 740-826-8376.

Students, faculty and staff with Muskingum University IDs are free.
