Update: The road has been cleared of the accident and traffic has resumed.

Ridge Road is closed due to a rollover accident Thursday afternoon around 3:30 p.m.

The driver of a red SUV told the Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper on scene he lost control of the vehicle upon driving through water on the roadway.

Crews from ValueCare, Zanesville Fire and South Zanesville Fire all responded, but the driver was unharmed in the crash.

Ridge Road remained closed until the SUV was cleared from the scene.
