A crash at the intersection of Northpointe Drive and Military Road sent at least one person to the hospital Sunday afternoon.

Zanesville police say a driver ran a stop sign while turning onto Northpointe from Military, resulting in a collision with another vehicle around 1 p.m.

A tan Buick received substantial damage to both the front and rear driver’s side doors, as well as broken passenger side and rear windows.

A silver Hyundai Santa Fe was also damaged on its front end.

Two Zanesville police officers were on scene, and one lane of traffic was closed to allow for the vehicles to be removed from the roadway.

Officers could not comment further on the crash or any related injuries.
