Malfunctioning railroad signal causes delays on Linden

By Christine Holmes, News Director

Traffic on Linden Avenue is at a halt due to an apparent malfunctioning railroad crossing traffic signal.

Around 60 cars have been stopped at the crossing located near the intersection of Linden Avenue and Park Street since before 4:30 p.m.

A representative from the Ohio Central Railroad said a responder is in route to fix the issue, which may take up to 30 minutes to complete.

The Zanesville Police Department is currently on scene to direct traffic.
