Surprise, the fair is going on! There’s only three days of the fair, and fair food, left.

Thursday’s events offer a little variety, so hang on tight. The main event in the evening is the A-Bar Rodeo Bull Riding and Girls Barrel Racing starting at 8 p.m. This is a free grandstand event, so all are welcome.

If bull riding or barrel racing isn’t up your alley, don’t worry. There are plenty of other events and activities to keep everyone busy beginning at 8 a.m.

  • 8 a.m- Jr. Fair Swine Showmanship (Swine Show Arena)
  • 9 a.m.- Open Class Sheep Show (Sheep Barn)
  • 9 a.m.- Junior Fair Sheep Breeding followed by Junior Fair Beef, Feeder and Dairy Feeder Calves (Coliseum)
  • 10 a.m. – dusk – Stihl Pro Wood Carver (Near Brighton Gate)
  • 11 a.m.- Rides Open
  • 1 p.m.- Escape Explosion Show (West end of fairgrounds)
  • 1 p.m.- Haley Watson Keffer and Hannah (J & E Distributors North Stage)
  • 2-7 p.m.- American Red Cross Bloodmobile (Near Grandstand)
  • 2 p.m.- World of Wonders Show (West end of fairgrounds)
  • 2 p.m.- Pee Wee Sheep Show Contest (Sheep Barn)
  • 3-6 p.m.- TBA (Muskingum Iron & Metal Entertainment Tent)
  • 4 p.m.- Escape Explosion Show (West end of fairgrounds)
  • 4 p.m.- Maysville High School Band (Grandstand)
  • 5 p.m.- World of Wonders Show (West end of fairgrounds)
  • 5:30 p.m.- Junior Fair Market Sheep and Steer Sale (Coliseum)
  • 7 p.m.- Escape Explosion Show (West end of fairgrounds)
  • 7 p.m.- Rabbit Dress Up (Rabbit Barn)
  • 8 p.m.- World of Wonders Show (West end of fairgrounds)
  • 8 p.m- Falling Under 80s Hard Rock Hits  (J & E Distributors North Stage)
  • 8 p.m.- A-Bar Rodeo Bull Riding and Girls Barrel Racing (Grandstand)
