Fair goers may have caught a glimpse of a fire at Owens-Illinois, a glass bottle manufacturing site on State Street, earlier Sunday evening.

According to firefighters in South Zanesville, two machines used for manufacturing caught fire, activating the building’s automated fire suppression system.

Firefighters say the fire was contained and extinguished before arriving on scene.

There were no injuries reported.
