Local author Jerry Fitzgerald will be greeting his readers while selling and signing copies of his newest book, “Through the Bridges of Life” Wednesday in New Concord.

Fitzgerald’s work encompasses some of his life experiences through poems and short stories.

In the book, Fitzgerald writes of love, growing up, life’s challenges and random moments in life that lasted in his memories over time.

Fitzgerald generalizes his rather personal experiences so that the reader can relate with their own.

“There are probably some stories where people said ‘gee, I think I remember some of that stuff,’” said Fitzgerald.

Those who would like to meet Fitzgerald and have a copy of his book signed can go to his signing at Scott’s Diner on Main Street in New Concord from 11-2 on Wednesday, Aug. 8.
