The Muskingum County Board of Elections has released the results of absentee voters in the county’s three contested races.

The following results are only of those who voted by absentee and do not reflect votes cast on election day.

Sheriff: Matthew J. Lutz (17,882) leads Joshua A. Weaver (5,484)

Clerk of Court: Wendy L. Sowers (15,601) leads Gregory Ritterbeck (7,361)

Coroner: Seth J. Vensil (16,411) leads Charles M. Feicht (2,774)
