While Americans await the results of the presidential election between President Donald Trump and Former Vice President Joe Biden, preliminary results are in as to the results of contested Muskingum County races.

This year only three county-wide races were contested, with nine other county-wide races seeing candidates face no general election competitor.

Below are the results of the three contested races. Names of incumbents have been italicized. Names of projected winners have been bolded.

Matthew J. Lutz (29,077) vs Joshua A. Weaver (9,671)

Clerk of Courts

Gregory Ritterbeck (10,258) vs Wendy L. Sowers (27,382)

Coroner

Seth J. Vensil (27,523) vs Charles Feicht (4,190)
