There are multiple dates left this month and next for student scholarship applicants to receive free assistance with their application.

Scholarship Central, an extension of the Muskingum County Community Foundation, is hosting three Virtual FAFSA Help Nights in the upcoming weeks, each on Tuesday evenings.

The sessions held on October 27, November 10 and November 17 all run from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will be held via zoom.

The virtual sessions are geared towards students who are interested in attending college, with help on how to obtain financial assistance through both government-backed loans and scholarships.

The workshops are free for all students and their families.

In addition to scholarship help, advisors will also be available to help students file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), decipher financial aid packages, research scholarship opportunities and help with ACT preparation, etc.

Help is also available for essay writing for scholarship and college applications.
