The Muskingum County Joint Unified Command Center is reporting 35 additional Muskingum County residents have tested positive for the Coronavirus.

The newly reported ranges from 9-years-old to 91-years-old.

Four are actively hospitalized due to the virus.

Maysville, Tri-Valley and East Muskingum Local Schools have all had a positive case(s) of COVID-19 in the past week according to the Health Department.

Due to HIPAA regulations, the identity of those reported to have tested positive are not being released.

While schools with active cases are being released, businesses are not.

Those who were exposed are being contacted as contract tracing is being conducted and informed on how to quarantine.

To date, there have been 444 confirmed cases, 13 probable cases, 457 total cases, 63 active cases, 11 current hospitalizations, 51 total hospitalizations and 2 deaths.
