During the second and likely final day of trial for Lucas Collins, both the prosecution and the defense are scheduled to begin their closing arguments during Friday’s afternoon session.

Multiple additional witnesses were called to testify Friday morning, including a member of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP) and Collins himself, who choose to take the witness stand.

Coverage of that testimony will be published later Friday afternoon.

The jury will begin deliberations once closing arguments have concluded and Judge Mark C. Fleegle has given final instructions to the jury.
