Raising Cane’s to open a Zanesville location
April 27, 2020
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is moving forward on plans to open a Zanesville location along Maple Avenue near Kroger on the north end of town.
According to a project list by the Mid-East Ohio Building Department, which issues plan approvals and regulates building code in Muskingum and neighboring counties, the new restaurant is slated to be constructed at 3299 Maple Avenue in the existing parking lot between the Kroger Fuel Center and Tim Hortons at the Country Fair Shopping Center.
Plans were received by the building department on March 31, and were confirmed on Twitter by Zanesville Mayor Don Mason in a tweet responding to a local resident about Raising Cane’s coming to Zanesville to which Mason responded, ‘true, north of Tim Hortons.’
A request for comment or confirmation by Raising Cane’s was not returned. The restaurants nearest establishment is currently located in Heath, Ohio.

I see that my email to Raising Cane’s Corporate Office finally helped to get one put in Zanesville… I was told they first had to do a Raising Cane’s Survey of the people in the area, to see if enough people liked, and wanted one… No more driving 32.5 miles one-way for my Raising Cane’s… Thank you for fulfilling my email request.

Send it south. That parking lot is to small for building and parking. Will just quit going to Kroger and Tim Hortons.
Plenty of other places to go.

I say build it in South Zanesville also. We have approximately, 24 plus food places on Maple. Not including the subway in Maple Walmart. And only 16-17 in South Zanesville. We hate battling Maple traffic, and lines to even get food anywhere on Maple. It has way to many restaurant’s, which causes all the traffic and accidents. Please add to South Zanesville ❤️

I’m so excited to see Raising Cane’s coming to the North end in Zanesville, Ohio!!! I’ve been posting on Cane’s Facebook page for over a year now.
Please let’s us know when to expect the opening.

If you haven’t noticed almost every food place you have on the south end is on the north end and then some. If it doesn’t last on the north it for damn sure won’t last on the south end. It’s common sense. I’m on the south end and I even realize this. And also, those people that lost their jobs could go to another fast food restaurant to work , most of them are hiring, if ya haven’t noticed that either!

Dear Tim, Would you also tell the people that lost their jobs at Long John Silver’s, Ruby Tuesday, White Castle and Popeye’s Chicken to “Stop whining!!”? Like I said, these places could very well still be open (barring the COVID-19) if on the south end of Zanesville.

They picked a good spot to put this, despite what others seem to think. It’s going to make good money and I look forward to it opening.

Like they need ANOTHER restaurant on Maple Ave. They look at the traffic flow and decide it’s a good place. Check out the traffic in South Zanesville and Maysville Pike. Look what happened to Long John Silver’s, Ruby Tuesday and White Castle, to name a few. Guess they would still be kicking it down on south Maysville Pike. 9 out of 10 people HATE to drive up on Maple Ave.!

Why can’t some businesses, food specifically, come to the South Zanesville area??? We like to eat down this way!

Why is everything built on the north end of Zanesville ? Try building in the south end of town !!

It would be nice if you would tare down a lot of sore eye building in south Zanesville, and maybe start thing about building up the Maple snd Northpoint a lot of people are sick of driving always to the North end to get stuff , Thst the reason s lot goes to Lancaster . You will be surprised to see how well your busy will grow in the South in of Zanesville.
