April 20, 2020
A bicyclist was transported to Genesis Hospital Monday evening after being struck by a vehicle near Kenlo Woods along State Route 60.
The individual riding the bicycle was traveling northbound along SR-60 around 6 p.m. when the white Volkswagen, also traveling northbound, went off the right side of the roadway striking the rider, according to an initial investigation by troopers, along with supporting eye witness reports.
The bicyclist was transported in stable condition with what appeared to be non-life threatening conditions by Falls Township Fire & EMS personnel.
Troopers indicated their intent to ticket the male driver of the Volkswagen once speaking with the cyclist at the hospital.

Any additional information as a follow up such as the condition of the bicyclist or if the car driver had charges filed against them?
