Residents in the Adamsville area might be unable to call 911, according to Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz.

CenturyLink notified the Sheriff’s Office Wednesday evening that there are possibly up up 300 customers experiencing issues due to the power outage this afternoon.

The rest of Muskingum County appears to be unaffected at this time.

It is currently unknown when 911 service will be restored to the affected area.
