Police in Zanesville are asking the public to be on the lookout for a man wanted for several violent offenses.

According to the Zanesville Police Department, Cory Christian has been charged with the following felonies:

• Kidnapping with a firearm specification and sexual motivation specification, a first-degree felony
• Rape with a firearm specification, a first-degree felony
• Attempted murder with a firearm specification, a first-degree felony
• Aggravated arson with a firearm specification, a first-degree felony
• Corrupting another with drugs, a second-degree felony

Additionally, Christian is wanted on warrants issued by other agencies.

Police believe Christian could be in the Zanesville, Coshocton or Cambridge areas.

Christian is six-feet and two-inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

The public is advised not to apprehend Christian on their own, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
