Ohio school closures extended to May
March 30, 2020
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced Monday that a previous order which closed schools in the state has now been extended.
According to DeWine, schools are now closed through Friday, May 1 as the cases of COVID-19 continue to increase.
The original order announced on March 12 projected that schools would be closed for three weeks beginning March 17 and would be re-evaluated at the end of that period.
At that time, DeWine indicated it was likely the order would be extended.
