The Zanesville Police Department announced Monday afternoon new restrictions at the Public Safety Building and City Jail due to COVID-19 concerns.

All jail visitations are suspended at this point in time.

Additionally, access to the Public Safety Building is limited to the lobby and courtroom.

The double doors leading to offices typically open to the public will be closed.

Further, the records office is closed to the public.

Municipal court will continue, but only persons essential to each case should enter the courtroom.
