The Village of South Zanesville announced Monday that it is closing the village municipal building to the public until further notice.

According to the press release, village staff will still be available for assistance by calling the following numbers:

• Utility Questions or Issues: (740) 453-3113, ext. 101
• Mayor’s Court or Income Tax: (740) 454-0492
• Police: (740) 453-0626

Payments can be made by using the drop box located on the Shawnee Avenue side of the building.

The village is requesting that payments be placed in an envelope with a copy of the bill or the name, address, account number and phone number on the account.

Receipts will be mailed upon request.

Payments can also be made online at villageofsouthzanesville.com or mailed to Village of South Zanesville at 24 E. Main St., South Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
