Authorities still searching for missing Washington County man with Zanesville ties

Authorities in Ohio are still searching for a missing Washington County man with ties to Zanesville.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Jerry Witten of Lowell was last seen at his home on SR 60 around 7 a.m. Thursday, March 5.
Witten drove away from his home in his dark grey Chevy Silverado crew cab with Ohio license plates.
He was wearing a tan jacket and pants with suspenders.
Witten did not have his cell phone with him.
According to his nephew, Benjamin Whitacre of Zanesville, Witten would sometimes visit Zanesville to see family or go to the stockyards by the post office.
He would also visit Witten Market on Maple Avenue, but it is currently closed until spring.
