The Zanesville and Muskingum County Convention and Visitors Bureau invites locals and neighboring state citizens to visit Zanesville and Muskingum County. 

Each year, the Visitors Bureau works with local organizations, non-profits and companies to promote activities and events going on in the area. For 2020, the bureau is kicking off a year to “explore, relax, and play” in Zanesville and Muskingum County by announcing the mass print of its visitors guide.

According to a press release, 90,000 Zanesville and Muskingum County’s new Visitors Guides have been printed and are ready to be provided to travelers, tour and meeting planners and citizens throughout Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Michigan. 

“Designed to attract visitors and help build the local economy, the Visitors Guide includes information about accommodations, restaurants, shopping options, attractions, and parks and recreation, as well as feature stories, entertainment and nightlife options and a maps section,” the Visitors Bureau stated. “New this year is motorcycle routes, itinerary ideas and local business spotlights.”

The visitors guide can be picked up at the Zanesville and Muskingum County Convention and Visitors Bureau, located at 205 N. Fifth St. Brochures on the Lorena Sternwheeler, hiking or biking trails and various other recreational activities in the area are also available.
