A Dresden area home was saved by the quick action of firefighters Sunday evening along North River Road in Madison Township.

Homeowners returned to find their shed on fire in close proximity to their trailer, according to Dresden Fire Chief Harold Wolford.

Crews from both Dresden and Adamsville Fire Departments were able to contain the fire, limiting the damage to the family’s residence to melted siding and damaged insulation Wolford continued.

The occupants of the home were not displaced by the fire.

According to Wolford, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
