A Zanesville man pleaded not guilty in common pleas court Wednesday morning to the sexaul assaults of two children.

Grand jurors indicted Joseph Drake last week on one fourth-degree felony count of gross sexual imposition and one first-degree felony count of rape with a victim under the age of 10.

According to his indictment, Drake is accused of sexually touching a 15 year-old in October.

He is also accused of forcibly raping a child under the age of 10 by digital penetration some time between December 2013 and December 2014.

If convicted of rape, Drake faces life in prison.
