A teenager that recently lived in Zanesville whose name is known in the local juvenile justice system has been arrested in West Virginia in connection to a Jan. 5 murder in Athens.

According to a public statement made by the Athens Police Department, 18 year-old Rachael Povosky was charged with complicity to murder after 37 year-old Floyd Lester Hart died from a gunshot wound.

Dylan Secoy, 26, was charged with murder in the case.

Both Secoy and Povosky were apprehended in Raleigh County, West Virginia after fleeing. 

Povosky and Secoy are currently classified as fugitives from justice at Southern Regional Jail in West Virginia while awaiting extradition to Athens County. 

According to Muskingum County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Tom McCarty, Povosky still has an open case in juvenile court from 2019.
