Residents in the Frazeysburg area are currently unable to call 911 as phone lines are down, the phone service provider Century Link tweeted Friday afternoon.

According to a Press Release from the Licking County EMA the northeast part of Licking County is also without 911 service.

The rest of Muskingum County appears to be unaffected at this time.

Those needing the emergency 911 line for the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office should call (740) 452-3637.

Those needing the emergency 911 line for the Licking County Sheriff’s Office should call (740) 345-3710 or (740) 345-1177.

It is currently unknown when 911 service will be restored to the affected area.
