A vehicle crashed into the Little Caesars Plaza building along Maple Avenue Sunday, closing the pizza establishment.

Around 11:30 a.m. Zanesville Police and Fire Dispatch received a call notifying them of a vehicle into the side of the building next to Little Caesars.

When first responders arrived they found a burgundy Buick Roadmaster partially inside the recently vacated office space.

The office was unoccupied at the time of the crash according to the Zanesville Fire Department.

The vehicle caused damage to the structure and destroyed multiple windows when it collided with the building.

According to individuals at the scene, all three occupants were checked for injuries but were not transported.

Little Caesars is currently closed as the building is inspected for structural damage. An employee noted the building shook when the Buick came into contact with it.

It is currently unknown if the driver will be cited for the incident.
