Muskingum County residents were in favor of sharing the wealth with taxes as nearly all levies that made it on the ballot passed.

Of the 52,261 registered voters inside Muskingum County, 15,218 of voters cast ballots, and they were largely in favor of the levies.

Of the 19 levies that were on the ballot in various precincts across the county, only three levies did not pass. All of the denied levies — the Roseville Parks and Recreation levy, the Roseville Cemetery levy and the Dresden income tax levy — were voted down by a small margin.

The Rambo Memorial Health Center levy passed with 69.1 percent of the 14,860 votes in favor of the levy.

The Mid-East Career and Technology Center levy passed with 65.5 percent of the 14,904 votes in favor of the levy.

The Aldi Sunday Sales levy passed with 62.7 percent of the 426 votes in favor of the levy.

The Zanesville City Schools levy passed with 59.5 percent of the 4,089 votes in favor of the levy.

The Franklin Local School District levy passed with 66.2 percent of the 1,987 votes in favor of the levy.

The Springfield Street and Road levy passed with 63.8 percent of the 663 votes in favor of the levy.

The Newton Township Fire levy passed with 64.9 percent of the 870 votes in favor of the levy.

The Licking Township Fire levy passed with 53.1 percent of the 535 votes in favor of the levy.

The Harrison Township Fire levy passed with 78.4 percent of the 328 votes in favor of the levy.

The Hopewell Street and Road levy passed with 58.6 percent of the 481 votes in favor of the levy.

The Jackson Cemetery levy passed with 65.1 percent of the 418 votes in favor of the levy.

The Jackson Street and Road levy passed with 68.1 percent of the 238 votes in favor of the levy.

The Harrison Recreation levy passed with 63.7 percent of the 333 votes in favor of the levy.
