A Mansfield-based hair threading business has expanded its operation to Zanesville at the Colony Square Mall. 

Friday, the owners and employees of Aesthetic Lookz I-Browz! were joined by the Zanesville-Muskingum Chamber of Commerce and the Colony Square Mall for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. 

Owners Farzana Afroz and Ali Hossain explained that threading is an ancient hair removal technique that has become popular in bigger Ohio cities, so they wanted to introduce the method to smaller towns, as well. 

“It lasts longer than waxing and tweezing,” said Afroz.

Customers don’t need an appointment to receive services at Aesthetic Lookz, which includes eyebrow and facial threading, tinting, eyelash extensions and henna tattoos. 

“We take pride in providing our customers very comfortable & friendly environment and we go above and beyond the typical beauty services to ensure that all of our clients are satisfied with what we have to offer,” said Hossain.

The goal for Afroz and Hossain is to send customers home with smiles on their faces. 

“We’re hoping a lot of people come to visit our store,” said Afroz. “This store is a very friendly environment. Employees are very professional and experienced.”
