One lane of southbound traffic is closed on Underwood Street due to an accident early Tuesday evening.

Two cars appear to be involved in the crash at the I-70 overpass near the entrance to interstate’s westbound lanes by Oriental Buffet.

The Zanesville Fire Department, Zanesville Police Department and ValueCare Ambulance Service are on scene.

Northbound traffic is unaffected by the accident.
