Multiple local fire departments responded to a structure fire Tuesday night along McGlade School Road in Muskingum Township.

According to Captain Brad Gibson of the Falls Township Fire Department, the call was received around 10 p.m. of a potential fire along McGlade School Road near Jones Road.

After arriving and assessing the situation Captain Gibson canceled the remaining incoming units. “We arrived to find an old house trailer, that was not occupied,” said Gibson.

Firefighters were eventually able to contain and extinguish the fire, which was started by the owners in an attempt to get rid of the remaining structure.

Falls Township Fire Department and Dresden Fire Department were both on scene.
