Shrivers Pharmacy begins 40-day celebration in honor of 40th anniversary

Monday morning, Shivers Pharmacy began 40 days of celebration to commemorate its 40th anniversary after its founding in 1979.
Shrivers Pharmacy was founded in 1979 by the late Randy Shriver, who purchased Price Richardson Pharmacy in Morgan County and renamed the company after the sale.
Ever since its founding, Shivers has been independently owned and operated locally, although it has since expanded to seven additional communities. Additionally, the Shrivers brand has expanded to include Shrivers Home Medical, Shrivers Compounding, Shrivers Hospice, Shrivers Echo and LTC Pharmacy.
Across all of its entities, Shrivers employees nearly 200 employees.
“My goal for Shrivers Pharmacy was to continue the brand that my friend and mentor Randy created, to expand the services we offered to our patients and the communities we serve and to provide excellent patient care,” John Coler, Owner and CEO of Shrivers, said in a media release. “We have accomplished that, and I think Randy would be proud of the brand today.”
For its 40th anniversary, Shrivers is hosting giveaways and community events for 40 days to thank customers. In addition to giving away Commemorative 40th Anniversary pint glasses to the first 40 customers on Monday, Shrivers Pharmacy locations will also host a 40 percent off sale day, free hot dog days, free community pool days for certain locations and free ice cream days for other locations, free health screens, a Big Brothers Big Sisters Volunteer Drive and a $40 Shrivers gift card giveaway each day. “To show our appreciation, we are thrilled to host events in the community and support other local businesses in the process,” Jessica Sabine, Chief Marketing Officer for Shrivers, wrote in the release. “We do these things ‘Because We Care,’ and we are grateful for the support of our patients, customers, and the communities we serve.”
Shrivers Pharmacy has locations in McConnelsville, Zanesville, Nelsonville, Crooksville, McArthur, Logan, Athens and Lumperport in West Virginia.

♥️ This is Great! “Randy”, I’m sure, is Smiling 🙂 . I remember it all from the beginning & the hard work he and all the employees have put into SHRIVERS PHARMACY is what has made it a huge success!! ~ I, with A Lot of others, stood at N. Kennebec Ave and Liberty St in McConnelsville watching as houses were picked up and relocated, so that OUR #1 Shrivers Pharmacy could be Built!!! . Congratulations to All !!!
