PAWS of Muskingum County is hosting another spay and neuter clinic, this time in partnership with the Animal Shelter Society, Inc.

With the large cat population around Muskingum County, PAWS is working to “stop the litter cycle.”

“If you take just 10 cats, 10 females, they’re each going to have three to five kittens,” Theresa Hildebrand, president of PAWS of Muskingum County, said in a previous Y-City News Report. “So those 10 females you didn’t get taken care of, you’re now looking at 30 to 50 cats.”

The upcoming clinic, on July 11, is open to the public. The spay and neuter clinic costs $60 for the operation or $30 for a feral cats in live traps. The operation includes core diseases vaccination and an incision tattoo for female cats.

Other services are available at the clinic for additional charges.

Other services available by PAWS for an additional charge include:

  • FeLV/FIV combo test for $20
